Bruce Hammer, Ph.D.

Bruce Hammer Bruce Hammer is a seasoned executive coach and organizational consultant whose clients value his ability to effect lasting change. Drawing on over 30 years of assessment and counseling experience, Bruce applies up-to-date trends and best practices in the fields of psychology, organizational development, and coaching to his work.

Bruce's capacity to communicate sensitive information in a straightforward yet empathic fashion enables his coaching clients to integrate and utilize challenging 360o survey feedback. His ability to gain the client's trust and to quickly identify and resolve personal or situational factors impeding change allows clients to make and sustain difficult behavioral modifications.

He customizes his coaching approach to help the client meet these expectations - be it to step up to expanded responsibilities, to adopt the management style suited to the business situation, or to achieve specific remedial/ developmental goals.

With extensive experience in interpersonal psychology and organizational culture, Bruce is also highly effective working with groups - leadership teams, business partners, and organizations undergoing leadership or strategic transitions. His group processes include Team Alignment, a process that develops high-performance leadership teams committed to achieving shared business objectives; and Succession Management, enabling smooth transfers of leadership from one executive to another. Bruce also specializes in helping second-generation family businesses migrate to a more institutionalized structure and management approach.
